Last updated: July 15, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Clements Electric website at clementselectric.com (the "Site") and our electrical contracting services (the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Site or Services.

Clements Electric ("we," "our," or "us") is a licensed Texas electrical contractor (TECL #40628) with its principal place of business at 2100 S Great SW Pkwy #505, Grand Prairie, TX 75051.

2. Services Description

Clements Electric provides residential and commercial electrical contracting services throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, including but not limited to:

  • Electrical panel upgrades and replacements
  • EV charger installation
  • Standby generator installation (Generac and Kohler)
  • Whole-home surge protection
  • Electrical repairs and troubleshooting
  • Outlet and GFCI installation and repair
  • LED and smart lighting installation
  • Whole-home rewiring

All electrical work is performed by licensed electricians in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), Texas state electrical codes, and applicable local building codes for each municipality we serve.

3. Estimates and Pricing

Estimates provided by Clements Electric — whether verbal, written, or electronic — are based on the information available at the time of assessment and are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated. Actual project costs may vary if:

  • Additional work is required beyond the original scope
  • Unforeseen conditions are discovered during the course of work
  • Material prices change significantly between estimate and project start
  • Permitting requirements or code interpretations differ from initial assumptions

Any changes to the scope of work will be communicated to the client and, where practical, documented in writing before additional work proceeds.

4. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment terms for our services are as follows:

  • Service calls and minor repairs: Payment is due upon completion of work.
  • Larger projects: A deposit may be required before work begins, with the balance due upon completion. Specific payment schedules will be outlined in your project agreement.
  • Financing: Financing options may be available through third-party providers. Financing terms are governed by the provider's agreement, not by these Terms.

We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Late payments may be subject to interest at the maximum rate permitted by Texas law.

5. Permits and Inspections

Clements Electric obtains all required electrical permits for work we perform. Permit fees are included in your project estimate unless otherwise noted. All work requiring inspection will be scheduled with the appropriate municipal authority, and we will coordinate access for the inspector as needed.

In accordance with Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) requirements, Clements Electric maintains current liability insurance and all required state and local licenses.

6. Warranties

6.1 Workmanship Warranty

Clements Electric warrants that all electrical work performed will be free from defects in workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of completion, unless a longer period is specified in your project agreement. This warranty covers labor only.

6.2 Manufacturer Warranties

Products, equipment, and materials installed by Clements Electric are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties. We will assist clients with manufacturer warranty claims, but the warranty terms, coverage, and remedies are determined by the manufacturer.

6.3 Warranty Exclusions

Our workmanship warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, or alterations by others
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from power surges, lightning, floods, or other acts of nature
  • Work performed on existing wiring or equipment not installed by Clements Electric
  • Issues arising from failure to follow our maintenance recommendations

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, Clements Electric's liability for any claim arising out of or relating to our services shall be limited to the total amount paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim. In no event shall Clements Electric be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, business interruption, or property damage beyond the scope of work performed.

This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or to any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Clements Electric, its owners, employees, and subcontractors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your interference with our work or safety procedures.
